How Anansi Intelligence handles data.

This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices available across the Anansi Intelligence landing page and platform.

Last updated: May 6, 2026

1. Information we collect

Anansi Intelligence collects information you provide directly, information created when you use the platform, and technical information needed to operate and protect the service.

  • Waitlist and contact details: first name, last name, work email, company name, company sector, and messages sent to hello@anansihq.ai.
  • Account and access information: identifiers, workspace access details, authentication status, and settings needed to grant and manage platform access.
  • Platform content: chat prompts, conversation messages, AI outputs, citations, reasoning and tool traces, saved briefs, exports, and related usage metadata.
  • Documents and research material: uploaded institutional documents, document metadata, parsed chunks, embeddings, source details, uploader information, and organisation or workspace visibility.
  • Technical and security data: browser and device metadata, product interactions, analytics events, logs, request metadata, and security events.

2. How we use information

We use information to operate Anansi Intelligence, manage access, respond to inquiries, provide AI analysis, generate citations and exports, support customer workflows, secure the platform, troubleshoot issues, maintain business records, and understand how the service is performing.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information to improve product quality, reliability, evaluation, and user experience. We do not use identifiable customer documents or chat content for broad model training unless a separate agreement says so.

3. AI processing

Anansi Intelligence uses AI systems to answer questions, retrieve relevant market, news, and document sources, generate summaries, prepare charts and tables, and produce cited analysis. To deliver those features, prompts, uploaded documents, retrieved sources, generated outputs, citations, reasoning traces, and related metadata may be processed by systems that support the service.

AI outputs are generated for intelligence and research support. They should be reviewed in context and should not be treated as legal, investment, regulatory, or professional advice.

4. Sharing and protection

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers, contractors, and professional advisers where needed to operate, secure, support, or improve Anansi Intelligence. We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect users, customers, and the platform.

We use technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we process, including access controls, logging, monitoring, and separation of customer workspace data where applicable.

5. Retention

We retain information only as long as needed for service delivery, account and workspace management, security, troubleshooting, customer relationship management, legal or commercial records, and legitimate business operations. We may retain limited records where required for security, compliance, dispute resolution, or contractual reasons.

6. Your choices

You may contact us to request access to your information, correct inaccurate records, delete non-essential contact records, object to certain uses, or ask how your data is handled. Some information may need to be retained where required for access control, security, platform integrity, legal obligations, or customer agreements.

7. Contact

Privacy questions and requests can be sent to hello@anansihq.ai.
