- Agency: GHA Ghana Highway Authority (trunk roads), DUR Department of Urban Roads, DFR Department of Feeder Roads.
- Length n/a: the list says Not Applicable (Interchange at Winneba Roundabout, Adawso Bridge and Dambai Bridge).
- Dates differ: the ministry's released list of sole-sourced contracts gives this lot a different award date (13 lots). The CSV notes give both.
- Progress: % complete as charted on the Ministry of Roads and Highways Big Push page, April 2026; not audited. Match: medium, the chart row was matched to the lot with medium confidence.
How the data is built.
The table is the Ministry of Roads and Highways' Full List of Big Push Infrastructure Programme, the list of new awards, as uploaded in May 2026; the April upload differs only in one contractor's name. Anansi read the PDF four independent ways, and the reads agree on every lot, amount and date.
Regions, projects and contractors are as the ministry printed them, typos in project names included. Bono/Savannah and Eastern/Volta are the list's labels for lots that span two regions; split, the lots cover all 16 of Ghana's regions.
Contract sums are award values, not spending. 53 lots are in cedis; the Adawso Bridge (US$497.7m) is in US dollars in every version of the list, so it is kept out of the cedi total rather than converted.
The list does not include the 23 projects continued from the previous government, which the ministry publishes separately; they appear in the comparison of official figures below.
Progress percentages are the ministry's, from the charts on its Big Push page for April 2026, matched to lots by name and chainage. They are not audited, and later reports may differ.

How the official figures differ.
Government statements count the programme in different ways, and set against the ministry's published lists they do not all reconcile. Each statement below keeps its source; where documents differ, the page says so without guessing why.
- New projects50 projects, 1,144 kmThe State of the Nation Address put new works at 50 projects, 1,144 km and GH¢50bn. The ministry's list has 54 lots, 1,299.02 km and GH¢52.59bn plus a US dollar contract, and its own page says both "50 projects" and "54 New Awards". The 1,144 km cannot be rebuilt from the list.Office of the President, State of the Nation Address 2026, p. 17, 27 Feb 2026
- All projects73, 77 or 8773 (State of the Nation Address) is 50 new plus 23 inherited; 77 (ministry page, May 2026) is the 54 lots plus 23 inherited. The Mid-Year Review's 87 includes 10 urban and 3 feeder roads, exactly as many as the two lists hold, so its extra projects are trunk-road contracts in neither published list.Ministry of Finance, 2026 Mid-Year Fiscal Policy Review, paras 563 and 564, p. 66, 23 Jul 2026
- Contracts awardedGH¢63bnThe 2026 Budget put road contracts awarded so far at GH¢63bn, and the Roads Minister repeated the figure in March 2026. Lots on the list dated on or before 13 November 2025 total GH¢38.54bn; every cedi contract on both lists totals GH¢62.21bn before the dollar and euro contracts. The figure cannot be reproduced from the lists.Ministry of Finance, 2026 Budget Statement and Economic Policy, para 1183, p. 145, 13 Nov 2025
- LengthNearly 2,000 kmThe State of the Nation Address said nearly 2,000 km; the Roads Minister said over 1,700 km on 24 March 2026. The two lists add up to 1,950.40 km, or 1,890.40 km without two inherited lots that repeat a road's full length.Office of the President, State of the Nation Address 2026, p. 17, 27 Feb 2026
- Award dates2 lots dated before the launchThe programme was launched on 16 September 2025. Lot 8 (Techiman - Nkonsia - Wenchi Road) is dated 29 November 2024 and Lot 14 (Interchange at Winneba Roundabout) is dated 29 August 2025 in every version of the list; the ministry's released list of sole-sourced contracts dates them 29 November 2025 and 29 September 2025. In all, 13 lots carry different dates in the two documents, which may record different events, such as approval and signature; neither says.Daily Graphic, Mahama cuts sod in Afienya to start Big Push, 16 Sep 2025
